2024 Morphic, Inc.
You can create high-quality images, including images from your trained character model, with Morphic for Photoshop's Imagine feature. This guide will walk you through the steps to achieve the best results.
Select the Imagine tab from the three options available. The Imagine tab will let you generate images for your workflow from scratch as well as from your trained character model, while the Sketch tab lets you convert your sketches to colored images, and the Transform tab lets you transform the style of any image to Anime or Flat Anime style with greater control over creativity and resemblance.
Describe your prompt in as detailed a manner as possible. If you are trying to generate an image for a character, describing the character's outfit, pose, background, and more would help you generate results closer to your imagination.
You may go ahead and click on 'Generate' and go on about using the generated images in your workflow. But if you wish to generate images from a trained character model, move to Step 3.
If you have access to Morphic Studio, you can train character models and use them to generate character images on Morphic for Photoshop. Select your preferred Character Model from the drop-down menu in the Imagine tab of the plugin.
You can choose the output style for your generation. Select your preferred Style from the plugin drop-down menu. Currently, you can choose between Anime and Flat Anime as style options.
Adjust Creativity and Resemblance settings to change how creative or similar the generations look to the trained model. You may have to tweak and experiment with different settings combinations to find the settings that work best for your desired output.
Creativity affects the diversity of the output. The higher the creativity, the more diverse the output will be. Ideally, you should use higher creativity when generating images from scratch from text or iterating on new images.
Resemblance refers to how similar you would like your output to be compared to the input. When you are generating assets from a given input and would like to maintain consistency, make sure your Resemblance is high.
This will generate four images for you to choose from based on your prompt and settings. Further, click on 'Add' or 'Add All' to add these generated images to your Photoshop artboard.
